Welcome to the Submarine and Atmospheric Purification (SAMAP) Conference website (the “Site”), hosted by CEPEDA Associates (“CEPEDA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using this Site, registering for the SAMAP Conference, or participating in related activities, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

  • The SAMAP Conference is a professional event intended for individuals and organizations working in related industries.

  • By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

  • CEPEDA reserves the right to refuse or cancel registration at its discretion.

2. Registration & Payment

  • Conference registration requires submission of accurate information and payment of applicable fees.

  • All fees must be paid in full prior to attending the conference.

  • Pricing and availability of tickets, lodging packages, and optional activities are subject to change.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organizers.

  • Refund eligibility and deadlines will be specified on the registration page.

  • No refunds will be issued for non-attendance.

  • CEPEDA reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., venue issues, safety concerns, or force majeure). In such cases, CEPEDA will provide notice and issue refunds or credits at its discretion.

4. Lodging & Upgrades

  • The SAMAP Conference lodging is provided at The Galt House Hotel.

  • Room upgrades and optional activities are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • CEPEDA is not responsible for hotel services, incidental charges, or accommodations outside of the official conference block.

5. Optional Activities & Excursions

  • Optional activities (e.g., bourbon tasting, river cruise, Churchill Downs visit) may involve third-party providers.

  • Participation in these activities is voluntary and subject to the providers’ own terms, conditions, and waivers.

  • CEPEDA assumes no responsibility for third-party services.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward all participants, staff, and venue personnel.

  • Harassment, disruptive behavior, or violations of applicable law will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and materials, is the property of CEPEDA or its partners.

  • You may not copy, distribute, or use materials from the Site without prior written permission.

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • Participation in the conference and related activities is at your own risk.

  • CEPEDA and its affiliates are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, property damage, lost items, or other losses incurred during the event.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, CEPEDA disclaims all liability for damages, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the Site or participation in the conference.

9. Privacy

  • Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for conference administration, communication, and related purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

11. Modifications

  • CEPEDA may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Site or participation in the event constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
